In September 2017, RHI held a Rural Health Network Summit that brought together rural health network leaders from across the country to consider the question, “What is the role of rural health networks in the changing health care environment?” Engaged and thoughtful network leaders came to a consensus on six key roles that support network members in their transition towards population health. These roles affirm the critical work of networks in the success of their members. Let us share the significance of the Summit findings with you while we use the findings as a catalyst to explore new services and opportunities that network leaders can embrace with confidence.
