In July 2015, the Missouri Telehealth Network (MTN) received $1.5 million in state appropriations to develop and launch the Show-Me ECHO program. This program is also being formed in other states. Show-Me ECHO uses videoconferencing technology to bring together physician specialists and primary care providers to collaborate in a case-based learning environment to develop advanced clinical skills and best practices.
